Joe is a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant who has worked in PT since 2013 and started working with us here at H&D in 2016. Having started as an aide and patient care coordinator, Joe quickly realized what his calling was and has worked as a clinician in various clinical settings including subacute care, outpatient, and home care with experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, and sport training. Joe's background includes basketball, American football, climbing, running, and cycling, with dreams of starting his journey as a triathlete and eventually competing in an Ironman Triathlon.

Joe studied under and was mentored by the former president of the New York Physical Therapy Association, the late great Dr. Michael Mattia, PT, DPT; who emphasized that what mattered most was not the diagnosis, but the person. Joe lives and practices with that mindset every single day, providing individualized care to help patients work toward their goals.

Even if you're not working with him, Joe likes to talk so if you see him, don't hesitate to say hi! He sincerely wishes you the best of luck on your journey.
