Tonya Juge, MSPT                                                   at 82nd Street

Tonya graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch with a Masters in Physical Therapy and a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise.   Her treatment sessions analyze movement patterns and retrain the neuromuscular system to move more efficiently. She utilizes both manual therapy and functional exercise.  She is pursuing a manual therapy certification with the Institute of Physical Art and plans to earn a Doctorate in PT. Tonya enjoys treating all diagnoses, but has a special interest in the spine. In May of 2006 she traveled to Africa with FOCOS ( Foundation of Orthopaedic and Complex Spine) to treat local children with spine deformities post operatively.   An avid rollerblader  and exerciser, she is also project leader for NYCares' childrens' cooking program.
