Steven Dekany, MSPT, MTC

Steven brings more than 10 years of  experience to H&D.  He received his  BA  in anatomy and physiology at Andrews University and an MS in physical therapy, magna cum laude, from the same institution in 1998.   In 2005, he received the designation MTC (Manual Therapist Certified) from the University of St. Augustine.  In 2007, Steven began to acquire a new skill, craniofacial manipulation, useful in the treatment of temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) disorder and other problems of the neck and face.  Steven has now completed the required coursework for craniofacial certification.  Steven believes that core and scapular strengthening are key to improving function. In his spare time, he engages in strength and conditioning training at a gym near his home.
