Stella Marie Avena, PT               at Columbus Circle

Stella completed her Bachelor’s degree at University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines and has practiced physical therapy in New York City since 1989.  Her clinical field experience includes home care, geriatrics, sports medicine, orthopedics, pain management, pelvic floor pain and continence rehabilitation, pregnancy, extensive manual orthopedic therapy, and visceral manipulation-which include pelvic visceral mobility for infertility. Her passion and ambition has succeeded her to supervise a physical therapy department for 5 years, and perform as a director at Clear Passage Therapy clinic.  Stella joined H&D Physical Therapy in 2007 as a staff therapist in manual orthopedics and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
